The moody yet tuneful theme music was provided by Joe Griffiths, who had previously written the theme songs for fondly-remembered ITV children’s animations Chorlton And The Wheelies and Jamie And The Magic Torch, and –after working with them as part of the comedy troupe Fundation –would go on to enjoy a long and successful partnership with double-act Hale And Pace.
