First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. Capitol print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 168-1; Side 2: YEX 169-1.
The original 1st presses used sans serif and the * credit indicator for “I Need You” was placed to the right of the song title.
