Two original picture-disk variants exist, which appear to differ only in the large catalog number in the outermost text, "WSX 3012" [this], or "WS 3012". Both versions have the WSX 3014 catalog number in the innermost line of small text.
"Picture disc pressed by Metronome Records of Germany, with photo-setting by Conways. Recorded at Island Studios".
This is a 180 gram vinyl LP picture disc, featuring a mandala image on side one & 'dynamo' image on reverse, both creating a 'psychedelic' visual imagery when rotating on a turntable. It was one of the very first multi-laminate mass-produced 'progressive rock music' picture discs to be produced and was released in a limited edition of 10,000 pressings.
It was issued in a clear plastic sleeve.
No timings on disc.
